Job description
The Hardware Engineering internship at NVIDIA offers students the opportunity to work on impactful projects within various teams, including System Validation, Hardware Design, Mechanical Engineering, and Silicon Solutions. Interns will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to tackle complex challenges in hardware engineering. This 12-week full-time internship is designed for students pursuing degrees in relevant fields and provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies. Candidates should be strategic, ambitious, and passionate about hardware innovation.
Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a university pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Anticipated graduation date must be clearly indicated on a resume or CV.
- Prior experience or knowledge in programming skills and technologies such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, Perl, Python, and TCL may be required.
Responsibilities
- Work on projects that have a measurable impact on NVIDIA's business.
- Maintain close relationships with Architecture, Hardware, and Software Design teams for rigorous testing and debugging.
- Engage in hardware testing, debugging, and validation of new products.
- Research and develop new concepts and materials for next-generation products.
- Productize NVIDIA’s chips into groundbreaking consumer, professional, server, mobile, and automotive solutions.
