AWS is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Mechanical Products & Services team, which focuses on innovative Mechanical Cooling and Controls systems for data centers. The role involves ownership and continuous improvement of Mechanical infrastructure products within AWS's expanding data center footprint. Engineers will collaborate with product development teams and serve as a global resource for Mechanical AWS products. This position offers the opportunity to engage in product lifecycle engineering and drive improvements in mechanical systems.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience developing Mechanical and/or Mechanical Cooling Products and launching them into production.
• 4+ years of project experience with cooling systems or components.
• Knowledge of critical data center or mission critical mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management and related systems.

• Provide Mechanical infrastructure support to AWS data centers.
• Collaborate with the product development team to understand all facets of each product.
• Support Operations including failure mode and root cause analysis.
• Work with global mechanical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Contribute to a cycle of continuous improvement at a global scale.
