Job description
KLA is seeking a full-time Deep Learning Algorithm Engineer to work on pioneering Deep Learning and GenAI applications for image processing and computer vision in the semiconductor process control sector. The role is part of the Global Products Group, which focuses on metrology and inspection products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deep learning, particularly in object detection and segmentation, and will be responsible for optimizing and deploying models. This position offers the opportunity to work independently across the full deep learning project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative fields.
- Experience applying deep learning or GenAI to real-world problems with impactful results.
- In-depth experience developing and optimizing deep learning models in areas such as computer vision or image processing.
- Proficiency in Python and one additional programming language such as C++, Java, Rust, or Go.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
Responsibilities
- Understand state-of-the-art deep learning and GenAI models.
- Connect SOTA DL modeling approaches to domain problem statements.
- Design deep learning and GenAI models to meet modeling requirements.
- Implement modeling prototypes and perform analysis.
- Evaluate and validate model performance against defined metrics.
