Job description
The Microsoft AI Experiences team is seeking exceptional Full Stack Engineers to join the Edge AI Companions and Agents Engineering team. This role focuses on leveraging advanced large language models and innovative engineering to enhance the Edge browser experience for users. The team aims to create intuitive Copilot experiences that integrate AI technology with browser functionality. Candidates must be local to Redmond, WA, and work onsite four days a week.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to perform system-wide root cause analyses and drive measurable improvements.
- Proficiency with AI tools and coding.
- Prior experience shipping products at Microsoft or in similarly large-scale environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver flagship Edge Copilot experiences in collaboration with product and design teams.
- Build new infrastructure in Edge Client to expose the power of modern browsers to multiple teams across MAI.
- Take end-to-end ownership across the full stack, including Edge client, orchestration, prompting, and UX.
- Drive innovation at the intersection of browser technology and AI systems, defining the next generation of intelligent browsing.
