The Manufacturing Scientist/Quality Control Chemist Intern at Elanco will be part of the Quality Control Lab team at the Clinton, Indiana manufacturing plant. This internship focuses on delivering practical solutions to reduce analytical variability and implementing new lab methods. Interns will gain exposure to various career paths and work with diverse subject matter experts on impactful projects. The role emphasizes understanding the manufacturing process and the importance of quality control.

• Currently enrolled in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a similar major.
• Experience in Microsoft Suites and a willingness to learn.

• Understand the manufacturing process and document using GMP guidelines.
• Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or Quality Control lab improvements.
• Learn about quality control, fermentation, product recovery, product finishing, or packaging.
• Study design improvement processes.
