Job description
This role is part of the global controls team at AWS, focusing on troubleshooting, project management, and maintaining building management and electrical power monitoring systems. The position involves working with experts in the data center industry to innovate and develop new processes. The candidate will manage improvement projects and provide technical support for BMS and EPMS systems. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective operation of critical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work associated with construction and project execution experience.
- 5+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environments.
- Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls or Electrical SCADA systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering documentation, electrical and mechanical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Train and assist internal customers and stakeholders with BMS and EPMS systems.
- Provide technical assistance and support during the life cycle of the data center.
- Develop project scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of efforts for BMS and EPMS projects.
- Manage scope, schedule, finance, and execution of BMS and EPMS improvement projects.
- Participate in AWS global on-call schedule to provide immediate technical support.
