Job description
The RF Systems Integration Engineer will be part of a hands-on development team focused on enhancing wireless technologies for Apple's products. This role involves designing and validating RF and wireless systems, ensuring efficient and consistent performance across devices like iPhones and iPads. The engineer will collaborate with various teams and vendors to tackle technical challenges and contribute to innovative wireless features. A strong foundation in wireless systems and programming is essential for success in this dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2 years of industrial experience in the RF/Wireless industry.
- Intuitive understanding of RF Transceiver Blocks and communications theory.
- Familiarity with RF/wireless test equipment and associated RF measurements.
- Ability to write clean and efficient code in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
- 5+ years of industry experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and scalable software design principles.
- Recent experience in developing test solutions for wireless RF standards.
- MSEE is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the design validation for different wireless technologies from prototyping to mass production.
- Design calibration routines and test algorithms.
- Contribute to a multi-faceted test software suite.
- Collaborate with chipset manufacturers and test equipment vendors.
- Analyze wireless performance data to address technical challenges.
- Ensure the deployment of high-quality wireless features.
- Travel internationally and domestically as required.
