Job description
The TEM Metrology Engineer role at Intel focuses on transmission electron microscopy data generation and analysis in Hillsboro, Oregon. This position supports manufacturing process development for next-generation Intel chips, collaborating with various engineering teams to improve yield and process control. Candidates will leverage their analytical TEM background and experience with massive data collection and statistical analysis. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 4+ years of industry and technical experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data for trend identification and root cause investigation.
- Experience using programming languages and data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Generate and analyze TEM metrology data to support manufacturing process development.
- Collaborate with automated TEM tool operation teams and metrology development engineers.
- Communicate technical findings and reliability risks to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Continuously upgrade skillsets and learn from colleagues to improve processes and technologies.
