Job description
The Senior Staff GenAI Engineer for YouTube Ads Creative Optimization will lead the development of advanced machine learning models to enhance ad creative intelligence. This role involves driving the architectural direction and evaluation frameworks for foundational models, focusing on data curation and model deployment at scale. The engineer will work within a team dedicated to optimizing creative processes and improving advertising effectiveness. This position requires a blend of technical leadership and hands-on engineering skills in machine learning and AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy and working with ML infrastructure.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products.
- 5 years of experience with generative AI, deep learning, or reinforcement learning.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of novel machine learning models from concept to production.
- Define the technical strategy and roadmap for key machine learning components.
- Build and integrate scalable machine learning pipelines and services.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement algorithmic improvements for creative selection.
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in applied machine learning.
