Job description

The Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage role focuses on providing industry and functional expertise within BCG's Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Practice Area. This position involves collaborating with case and proposal teams to deliver insights and knowledge assets. The analyst will support commercialization efforts and contribute to the development of intellectual property while assisting in the training of junior colleagues. The role emphasizes problem-solving, communication, and collaboration in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of consulting experience in the relevant Enterprise Software or B2B SaaS sector is required.
  • In lieu of consulting experience, a minimum of 3+ years of industry experience is required, with 4-6+ years preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and proficiency in using AI-enabled tools and GenAI platforms is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities are necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Solve client problems by formulating relevant research and analytical approaches in areas such as Pricing, GTM, M&A, and Operational Excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with case teams and clients in a credible and confident manner.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic, often in a virtual setting.
  • Bring a curious and creative mindset, proposing innovative ideas.
  • Navigate complexity and ambiguity in various situations.
  • Support commercialization efforts by contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials.
  • Assist in onboarding and training junior colleagues based on topic and sector expertise.
