Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a Solutions Architect to enhance Day 2 operations within the NVIDIA Cloud Partner ecosystem. This role focuses on ensuring the health and performance of cloud services after installation, working closely with partner engineers to solve complex operational challenges. The architect will help prepare new technologies for operational readiness and drive their adoption in live environments. Success in this role means empowering partners to become more capable and self-sufficient in managing their cloud operations.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field - or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years in production infrastructure, cloud engineering, solutions architecture, site reliability engineering, HPC, or a similar technical role; alternatively, 5+ years of exceptional specialist-level work in large-scale GPU or AI infrastructure.
- Experience building, operating, or improving distributed infrastructure under real production load.
- Deep expertise in at least one part of the Day 2 stack, backed by hands-on work with large-scale GPU, HPC, or cloud infrastructure.
- Working experience across the broader operating platform, including Kubernetes or Slurm, GPU scheduling and multi-tenancy.
Responsibilities
- Solve hard Day 2 operations problems at scale alongside partner engineers.
- Make new technology Day 2 ready by preparing the operating model for new NVIDIA platforms.
- Improve reliability, performance, and economics by analyzing incident frequency and recovery time.
- Raise each partner's Day 2 maturity by identifying and closing gaps in processes and tooling.
- Turn validated solutions into ecosystem capabilities that can be integrated by other NCPs.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
