As an iOS Engineer on the Money Experience team at Robinhood, you will build and improve customer-facing money movement experiences within the app. This role involves collaborating with a high-performing team to tackle significant financial challenges using advanced technologies. You will focus on enhancing features related to account management and transfer flows, ensuring a seamless user experience. The position is based in Menlo Park, CA, with an emphasis on in-person collaboration to foster innovation and community.
Requirements
- You have 3+ years of professional iOS engineering experience building and shipping production mobile applications.
- You have proficiency in Swift and experience developing applications using modern iOS frameworks and architecture patterns.
- You have experience collaborating with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features.
- You are comfortable improving application quality through testing, performance optimization, and maintainable engineering practices.
- You communicate technical concepts clearly and contribute constructively during design reviews, planning discussions, and code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain iOS features that support equities trading, brokerage account management, and customer onboarding experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, compliance partners, and operations teams to deliver reliable mobile functionality tied to customer and business goals.
- Improve application performance, testing practices, observability, and release processes for the iOS platform.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and implement scalable mobile architecture patterns across the codebase.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and collaborative engineering processes that support platform reliability and maintainability.
