As a Senior Software Engineer on the Storage Platform team at Robinhood, you will focus on building and improving core infrastructure that enhances database reliability and performance. This role involves working with relational and key-value databases, as well as caching systems, to support millions of users and critical brokerage workloads. You will collaborate with peers to design solutions that reduce operational overhead and improve how storage systems operate at scale. • Strong experience building and operating backend or infrastructure systems in production environments.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database concepts, including schema design and query performance.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go or Rust.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and containers, preferably AWS and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with system observability practices and performance measurement.
