We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated systems engineer to enhance our DevSecOps practices and support public cloud operations. This role involves working with cutting-edge technology and collaborating with a team of DevOps engineers. Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, focused on infrastructure management and automation
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and services, specifically AWS and Azure
- Experience with UNIX/Linux environments
- Experience with configuration management systems such as Puppet or Chef
- Ability to write code in Python or PowerShell for infrastructure scripting
- Strong understanding of build and automation systems like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Strong knowledge and experience with Git
- Experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
- Ability to automate self-service workflows
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related STEM field
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain operational components in public clouds like AWS and Azure as well as private cloud
- Create tools and processes that enhance operational workflows
- Configure and deploy containerized microservice workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with a team of DevOps engineers to maintain production applications and infrastructure across multiple cloud providers and regions
- Work closely with development teams to improve workflows around build, test, and deployment of applications
- Design new tools and utilities to automate infrastructure management
- Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and trending operational tools within a cloud environment
- Perform day-to-day support of applications covering deployment, patching, and general administration
- Troubleshoot systems and provide root cause analysis
- Provide rotational 24/7 on-call technical support
