As a Software Engineer at Pinterest, you will play a key role in building and enhancing the web platform that serves millions of users. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in web development with a solid understanding of JavaScript, CSS, DOM, and HTTP protocol.
- Experience with technologies such as React, Redux, TypeScript, and testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Rspack, or Vite.
- Exposure to Node.js, server-side rendering techniques, or frameworks such as Next.js or Remix.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding agents and a perspective on their application in developer workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.

- Build the web platform that powers Pinterest.com for hundreds of millions of users.
- Improve foundational web architecture, developer experience, builds, CI/CD, and testing capabilities.
- Identify site-wide challenges and propose, test, and ship solutions.
- Contribute to large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that enhance the web platform.
- Raise web stability, scalability, performance, and accessibility by implementing best practices.
- Accelerate the web development lifecycle with AI agents to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Participate actively in technical design, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
