The Staff Machine Learning Engineer will lead the technical vision for the Ads Conversion Core Modeling team at Pinterest. This role focuses on developing state-of-the-art applied machine learning projects to enhance ad conversion. The engineer will work on designing large-scale deep neural network models and leveraging AI to improve user action predictions. Collaboration with product and sales teams is essential to create innovative ad products while mentoring other engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of industry experience building production ML systems at scale.
• 2+ years of experience leading technical projects or teams.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in workflows.
• Experience with AI coding assistants for development, debugging, testing, and refactoring.
• Familiarity with LLM-powered productivity tools for documentation and analysis.
• Strong mathematical foundation and experience with statistical methods and A/B testing.
