• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of C++ or .NET/C#.
• Experience prototyping or integrating AI/ML technologies into real software.
• Strong understanding of software algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with image analysis, computer vision, or 3D/graphics programming.
• Experience working with APIs and services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience or exposure using AI to assist in code development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.

• Research, prototype, and develop AI-powered features across a diverse problem space.
• Develop software components and tools for indoor feature extraction and AI-assisted validation.
• Prototype and integrate algorithms for image/video analysis and geometric calculations.
• Write clean C++, .NET/C#, and Python code to process spatial data and imagery.
• Contribute to experiments with LLMs and computer vision models, documenting results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams across Esri.
• Participate in code reviews and software quality processes.
• Learn and apply GIS concepts and indoor facility workflows.
• Present prototypes and findings to the team and incorporate feedback.
• Participate as an individual contributor to a Scrum software development team.
