The Field Engineering Manager will lead a team of Solutions Architects focused on the Manufacturing Segment at Databricks. This role emphasizes building a strong team culture while driving customer success through effective data and AI solutions. The manager will partner with sales and other technical segments to enhance revenue and ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building and leading technical pre-sales teams.
- 7+ years of experience in the Data + AI space with a technical product.
- A deep technical understanding of the impact that Data + AI can drive within various industry segments.
- Technical competence to earn the trust of Engineering talent and leadership.
- Experience hiring pre-sales professionals and promoting them into larger roles.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, grow, and manage a team of Solutions Architects.
- Ensure customers achieve success with Databricks and derive significant value.
- Maintain a robust hiring pipeline at all times.
- Establish relationships across the business to support customer and team success.
