• 9+ years of experience in Data Security or related areas with expertise in Cryptography, Kubernetes Security, Web Security, and more.
• 15+ years of experience building large scale distributed systems with high availability.
• Leadership skills and experience to lead across functional and organizational lines.
• Strong communication skills to explain and evangelize Data Security to senior leaders.
• MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields.

• Identify and plug key gaps in Databricks' infrastructure and services to enhance safety.
• Attract top talent from across the industry to strengthen the security team.
• Represent the security engineering discipline throughout the organization.
• Promote Databricks at academic and industry conferences and events.
