In this role, you will collaborate with customers to design and implement enterprise database solutions using Esri technology best practices. You will work with a talented team focused on supporting Defense and Intel clients, contributing to impactful solutions that enhance community welfare. The position involves both independent work and teamwork to configure geospatial database management capabilities. You will also provide technical guidance throughout the engagement life cycle.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in database design, administration, and optimization for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or SAP HANA.
• Familiarity with database design principles, data loading techniques, backup and recovery solutions, performance monitoring and tuning, database maintenance, and security.
• Scripting skills in SQL and Python for automation and data workflows.
• Exposure to geospatial concepts such as spatial data types, coordinate systems, and spatial indexing.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to technical peers and non-technical project managers or customers.
• US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or related STEM field.

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure database solutions to support mission-critical applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during all phases of implementation including requirements, analysis, design, build/configuration, and deployment.
• Configure and maintain database environments, including backup, restore, high-availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor and tune database performance using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Implement data security measures, access controls, and compliance standards across environments.
• Automate routine database loading, maintenance, and monitoring tasks to improve efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices for database design, migration, and integration projects.
