Job description

In this role, you will collaborate with clients to develop solutions that enhance their success using GIS technology. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports various National Mapping and Charting organizations, focusing on Maritime Safety of Navigation. Your work will involve providing thought leadership and promoting Esri technology to drive customer success. This position is within the Professional Services division, which aims to deliver transformational solutions to high-profile clients worldwide.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a similar technical consulting or project delivery role on IT-based projects
  • Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform
  • Experience supporting hydrographic data and nautical chart production
  • US citizenship and willingness and ability to maintain a US Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and implement key GIS workflows using the ArcGIS platform
  • Configure ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise to support Maritime Safety of Navigation production workflows
  • Understand how Esri technology integrates/interfaces with customers' solutions vision
  • Work as part of a team to pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers
  • Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in a diverse range of customer organizations
