Apple is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to lead programs focused on building Apple’s Cloud Observability and Storage Platforms. This role is part of the Cloud Infrastructure team, which enables Apple’s apps and services on a massive scale. • 12+ years of experience as an engineering program manager in the cloud infrastructure domain, specifically in observability and cloud storage.
• Strong background in software delivery and services infrastructure engineering.
• Proficient in software development processes (SDLC) and comfortable with various project management methodologies.
• Experience with risk analysis and developing, prioritizing, and leading the roadmap.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or deep relevant industry experience.
• Prior experience in engineering, infrastructure, or software development program management for Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with polished presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities.
• Expertise in coordination and participation in requirements gathering and design brainstorming sessions.
• Experience leading multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• A history of leadership, decision making, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence partners without direct authority.
• Proven record in defining processes, developing metrics, and executing on them while driving program maturity and process optimization.
