The System-Wide Quality organization at Apple is looking for a quality engineering manager to lead the User Experience Quality team. This team focuses on black-box testing to simulate real-world customer usage across Apple products, ensuring software quality that delights users. The role involves evolving the team's approach from periodic manual testing to a comprehensive, continuous quality assessment that influences executive decisions. The ideal candidate will foster collaboration and innovation while integrating AI-driven automation and data insights into the quality process.

• BS in Computer Science, BS/BBA in Management, or 4+ years of equivalent software quality engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience in a managerial or team leadership capacity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency with Apple operating systems, including iOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS
• Demonstrated experience leveraging Generative AI to create and optimize testing products and automation
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python for test automation and data analysis
• Experience with objective and subjective analysis techniques

• Lead the User Experience Quality team in assessing end-to-end use cases that matter most to customers
• Drive the evolution of User Experience Quality from periodic manual testing to a holistic quality product
• Champion innovation that amplifies the impact of the team's testing efforts
