Job description
Apple Silicon Engineering is looking for Hardware-minded Software Engineers to develop innovative tools for designing the next generation of Apple's systems-on-chip (SOCs). The role focuses on creating software representations of analog mixed-signal circuits and developing specialized tools and simulation platforms. Candidates will leverage their software engineering skills alongside hardware knowledge to assist circuit designers. This position involves tackling complex challenges at the intersection of software development and hardware design.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or C++.
- Strong background in object-oriented programming (OOP) and software architecture design.
- Experience with data storage systems, schema design, and database architecture.
- Knowledge of event-driven programming and system-level simulation frameworks.
- Experience developing web applications and designing frontend user interfaces.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, packaging, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop software tools and simulation platforms for analog mixed-signal circuit design.
- Combine software engineering expertise with hardware knowledge to build automation frameworks.
