The Financial Analyst role at Apple involves joining the Engineering FP&A team to support financial forecasting, planning, and analysis. Requirements
- 5 years of finance or other relevant work experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent required
- Strong finance and accounting background with an aptitude for understanding complex financial structures
- Established financial experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
- Outstanding attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of collaboration
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to automate and improve processes
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities; experience in Adaptive, Tableau, SAP, or FileMaker is a plus
Responsibilities
- Drive the team's forecast, annual plan, consolidation, and quarter-end close activities
- Provide critical analysis to support the company's product roadmap and technology development decisions
- Prepare, track, and evaluate performance metrics for the Engineering Finance team
- Deliver business and financial analysis in addition to forecasting and reporting
- Provide best-in-class business support to the Apple Engineering organization
