- Professional fluency in Python and comfort owning code in production.
- Experience building or maintaining ETL/data pipelines.
- Strong product instinct and experience building tooling that engineers adopt.
Responsibilities
- Lead the scalability and debuggability of Kubernetes at Apple-internal scale.
- Take ownership of the observability stack, including error tracking and log aggregation.
- Design and build internal-tools APIs that support real load and multi-tenancy.
- Lead the MongoDB estate, optimizing queries and managing indexing strategies.
- Own and improve ETL pipelines that feed data into the system.
- Design and ship a self-service query layer for client teams.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance the user experience and onboarding process.
Benefits
- Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
