As a Senior System Engineer at Esri, you will lead the design and delivery of critical ArcGIS deployments for Defense and Intelligence operations. This role involves architecting and optimizing enterprise-scale geospatial systems in secure environments. You will serve as a trusted technical leader, addressing complex system challenges and influencing architectural decisions. The position requires a combination of hands-on system engineering and technical leadership to ensure the scalability and resilience of ArcGIS platforms.

• 12+ years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilities.
• Experience designing, implementing and/or administrating enterprise ArcGIS or other comparable IT systems.
• Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux.
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, PowerShell, Javascript, or C#.
• Familiarity with network concepts and topics such as domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, and load-balancing.
• Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing.
• US citizenship with Active or Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a STEM related field.

• Deploy and configure complex ArcGIS in various environments to meet customer service level agreements.
• Plan and execute the migration of content between different ArcGIS deployments.
• Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments and provide guidance for platform components.
• Work closely with customers and partners to design and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform.
• Collaborate internally to align customer technical objectives with Esri's technology platform.
