The Infrastructure & Platform Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) – AWS role at Databricks involves serving as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers. • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical role with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• 2+ years of professional experience with distributed architectures and big data technologies.
• 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical work experience.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala, alongside strong proficiency in SQL.

• Guide strategic customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on AWS platform administration.
• Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments that meet complex AWS networking and security compliance standards.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in core areas such as AWS infrastructure and cloud networking.
• Support Solutions Architects during complex technical sales cycles by building custom proof-of-concept architectures.
• Expand platform adoption by delivering tutorials and contributing to the Databricks open-source community.
