As a Specialist Solutions Architect in Data Engineering & Warehousing, you will guide enterprise customers through cloud data engineering transformations. This customer-facing role involves collaborating with Solutions Architects and leveraging your expertise in large-scale data engineering and lakehouse architecture. You will help organizations optimize their analytics workloads and align their technical roadmaps with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. The position offers opportunities for mentorship and continuous learning while allowing for remote work.

• 5+ years of experience in a technical role with deep expertise in data and software engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with the Apache Spark ecosystem, including Spark Core, Spark SQL, and Spark Streaming.
• Experience building or supporting data-driven use cases and predictive analytics pipelines.
• Experience migrating EDW workloads across OLAP/OLTP systems and advanced query tuning.
• Deep understanding of modern lakehouse architectures across major cloud platforms.
• Production-level programming experience in SQL and at least one language among Python, Scala, or Java.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.

• Provide technical leadership to help enterprise customers build, scale, and optimize big data workloads.
• Architect production-ready pipelines and demonstrate the power of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Build expertise across specialized domains such as data lake architecture and automated ingestion workflows.
• Partner with Solutions Architects on complex pre-sales engagements and custom architecture designs.
