• 10+ years of professional experience in engineering.
• Bachelor's of Science in Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics Engineering discipline.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with project management of technical projects.
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.

• Conceive, design, and develop innovative hardware and controls architectures for new products.
• Contribute to system design, including development of 3D models/assemblies, PLC systems, sensor selection, and electrical schematics.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop novel technology.
• Develop business cases, applications, and theories of operation for engineering systems.
• Drive product definition, development execution, and testing while identifying and mitigating product risks.
• Specify testing to verify compliance with requirements and interface with engineering and product management.
• Engage with vendors and technology suppliers to evaluate and select applicable technology.
• Be hands-on in bringing online new product prototypes and conducting verification testing.
• Provide accurate information to colleagues and management while mentoring new engineers and interns.
