The Space Systems Modeling and Analysis Engineer will develop and deploy high-fidelity computational models for multi-orbit space architectures, focusing on satellite communications, navigation warfare, and missile warning missions. This role involves building simulations of proliferated constellations across various orbital regimes and performing operational availability analyses. The engineer will collaborate with systems engineers and government stakeholders to translate operational requirements into simulation parameters. The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
• 3+ years of experience developing physics-based models and simulations of space systems
• Experience modeling systems across multiple orbital regimes (LEO, MEO, GEO)
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++ for numerical modeling and data analysis
• Demonstrated experience with parallelizable or high-performance computing approaches for large-scale simulations
• Master's or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Astrodynamics, Applied Physics, or related field
• Familiarity with SATCOM network modeling, including link budgets and spectrum management
• Knowledge of space domain awareness and conjunction assessment
• Experience with ground-based and space-based threat characterization

• Develop, validate, and maintain high-fidelity models of multi-orbit constellations for various mission areas
• Design and execute large-scale, parallelizable simulations to evaluate constellation performance
• Perform trade studies and sensitivity analyses on constellation design parameters and sensor geometries
• Model ground segment architectures including radar systems and command and control infrastructure
• Analyze Space Data Network architectures including space-to-space crosslinks and network service orchestration
• Support architecture decisions by quantifying system resilience and performance under adversarial conditions
• Produce technical documentation, trade study reports, and briefings for engineering leadership
• Collaborate with systems engineers and mission architects to translate operational requirements into simulation parameters
