As a Sr. Engineering Manager on the Agentic Service Platform team at Databricks, you will lead a talented group of engineers responsible for building foundational service frameworks and runtime infrastructure for microservices. The team's mission is to enhance the speed, reliability, observability, and security of services across the organization. You will set the technical strategy and roadmap for the platform while ensuring high-quality delivery of complex initiatives. This role also involves championing the career development of engineers and aligning with product and engineering leadership.

• 8+ years of engineering experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems, service frameworks, or platform infrastructure.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience leading strong technical teams.
• A track record of high technical judgment in building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Demonstrated success in attracting, hiring, and retaining top-tier talent.
• Existing experience building and running cloud platforms or the ability to quickly learn new concepts in the SaaS space.

• Lead and scale a multi-faceted team of talented engineers building core agentic service platform infrastructure.
• Own and set the multi-year technical strategy and organizational roadmap for the agentic service platform.
• Drive and ensure the predictable, high-quality delivery of complex, multi-quarter/multi-year strategic initiatives.
