Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a software engineering manager for its Windows display driver team, responsible for ensuring that stunning images rendered by NVIDIA GPUs are displayed across various screens. The team works with a range of technologies and standards, focusing on both consumer and professional markets. The role involves leading a team of engineers to develop new features and support GPU device drivers while collaborating with multiple teams to deliver high-quality products. Requirements
- BSEE/CS or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in developing system software or equivalent.
- 2+ years managing software developers.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Low-level operating system knowledge and experience in memory/resource management in real-time systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5-10 system software engineers to drive new feature development and general support for GPU device drivers.
- Balance priorities among end-user, partner, OS, and chip bring-up requirements.
- Develop ambitious but realistic engineering plans aligned with those priorities.
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of high-quality, robust kernel mode device drivers.
- Coach the engineers in the team to increase their technical and leadership skills.
