Job description

Intel is seeking a Process Integration and Yield Engineer to enhance technology nodes in Arizona. The role focuses on delivering analytical insights to minimize defects and improve factory yields through collaboration with various teams. Candidates should possess strong technical skills and a passion for data analysis. The position emphasizes continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Statistics/Data Science, Chemistry, Physics or related STEM field of study with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience or a Ph.D. in the above labeled fields.
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication and processing techniques such as Lithography, Etch, Diffusion, Implant, Planay and Thin Films.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles, and Statistical Data Analysis using tools like JMP/JSL, Python, and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed data analysis using various statistical and data mining tools to identify the root cause of defects and yield issues.
  • Identify exclusionary or baseline sources of defects or yield impacts and recommend or lead corrective actions.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects on products and processes for improved performance.
  • Provide expertise on process flow segments.
  • Lead or participate in multi-area problem-solving teams to troubleshoot complex yield problems.
