The manager of the Digital Natives Solutions Architect team will focus on developing a team of Solutions Architects to drive the adoption of the Databricks Platform among fast-growing tech companies. This role involves leading the team to establish best practices throughout the customer workload lifecycle and ensuring team members achieve success and career growth. The manager will collaborate closely with sales, services, product, and engineering teams to deliver solutions to highly technical customers. Excellent communication skills are essential for explaining complex solutions to stakeholders.

• 7+ years of experience in the data space with a technical product such as data warehousing, big data, cloud infrastructure, or machine learning.
• 5+ years of experience building and leading technical customer-facing teams in a high-growth environment.
• A history of building a territory, growing strategic accounts, and exceeding targets.
• Experience in managing workloads and consumption with sales, product, and engineering counterparts.
• Experience owning executive alignment in accounts that guide strategic decisions.

• Hire and develop a team of deeply technical Solutions Architects capable of guiding digital native customers across a wide range of data, analytical, and AI workloads.
• Adapt the SA team's skills and engagement model to match the needs of digital native customers.
• Ensure the SA team knows how to technically qualify workloads, identify important use cases, build proof of concepts, and establish themselves as trusted advisors throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Travel to customer sites for executive sessions, technical workshops, and relationship building.
• Establish relationships across internal organizations to ensure the success of customers and the team.
• Stay current with emerging Data and AI trends in the digital native tech sector.
