As a Sr. Solutions Architect at Databricks, you will support the Digital Natives Business customers by shaping the future of the Data & AI landscape. You will work closely with data engineering and data science teams to develop architectures and solutions using Databricks' platform and APIs. This role involves guiding customers through best practices and implementation while acting as a strategic technical advisor. You will also collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects and promote open-source projects within the developer community.

• 7+ years in a data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar pre-sales/consulting role
• Experience building distributed data systems
• Comfortable programming in and debugging Python and SQL
• Experience building solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Expertise in data engineering or data science and machine learning technologies
• Available to travel to customers in your region
• Desired degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science or Applied Mathematics
• Nice to have: Databricks Certification

• Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership and help customers understand how Databricks can solve their business problems.
• Lead technical discovery and design architectures for strategic projects involving data engineering, data science, and machine learning.
• Implement proof of concepts and help customers build solutions that integrate with cloud services and third-party applications.
• Act as a strategic technical advisor to customers to drive business outcomes.
• Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects to support each other and users.
• Become an expert in and promote Databricks inspired open-source projects across the developer community.
