The role at Databricks is focused on managing and evolving secure cloud infrastructure across multiple major cloud providers. As a Production Engineer, you will ensure the reliability and security of the Data Intelligence Platform in highly regulated environments. You will work on automating identity and access management, improving security data pipelines, and maintaining compliance with evolving standards. This position requires a strong background in cloud operations and a security-focused mindset.

• Candidates must hold a current TS/SCI clearance.
• Possession of a current polygraph is highly desired.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of experience in cloud IAM, account architecture, or security-critical infrastructure.
• Deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation.

• Design, automate, and operate IAM and project lifecycle across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Review and improve cloud identity and access policies to align with security standards.
• Build and maintain reliable automation and tooling for cloud changes.
• Treat operational and security issues as software problems to eliminate toil.
• Own and improve security and audit logging data pipelines from cloud providers.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, and Audit teams to provide evidence and policy updates.
• Operate and improve specialized, highly regulated environments.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for high-severity incidents.
