As a Staff Engineer on the User Activation team at Databricks, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical vision and architecture for product experiences that enhance customer onboarding and growth. You will lead a team of approximately 20 software engineers to develop seamless onboarding flows and intuitive workspace experiences. This role requires a strong focus on collaboration with product management and design teams to create scalable solutions. Your contributions will directly impact Databricks' expansion and customer satisfaction.

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of technical leadership and impact.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing managers.
• Expertise in Front End or Full Stack development.
• Experience designing and building scalable SaaS platforms or customer growth-focused product experiences.
• Expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern web application architectures.
• Strong ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams to align technical strategy with company growth objectives.
• Passion for the data intelligence space.

• Define and drive the strategy for customer onboarding, workspace experience, and account management.
• Partner closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to build intuitive and scalable solutions.
