The Senior Engineer – Workday Financial Integrations at GEICO is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing integrations within the Finance ecosystem. This role requires a strong hands-on engineer with expertise in Workday Financials integrations and AI-driven tools. The engineer will collaborate closely with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable integration solutions. The position emphasizes innovation and operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of protection and availability.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience within the Workday Ecosystem
• 3+ years of experience with architecture and design
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• 1+ years of experience building AI-powered applications, chatbots, or intelligent agents
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

• Manage system integrations within the architecture of the Workday Financial system
• Identify and implement AI-driven opportunities within Finance processes and Workday ecosystems
• Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues and develop new integrations
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle
• Lead design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate the quality of engineering
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis and problem resolution
• Analyze and translate business specifications into technical specifications
• Apply AI-based techniques to automate integration monitoring and support processes
• Develop solutions that leverage AI services to improve Finance operations and user experience
