• Fluency in modern programming languages such as Go and Python.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and operating ETL/ELT data pipelines at scale.
• Experience building data quality, reconciliation, and drift-detection processes.
• Strong API design experience, including REST and/or GraphQL.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture and container orchestration, particularly Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical tradeoffs into actionable guidance.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Define and drive the overall technical strategy for the Developer Activity Metrics platform.
• Lead data modeling and schema governance for datasets to ensure consistent metrics.
• Establish and enforce data quality standards to maintain accurate and trustworthy data.
• Drive the integration strategy between Developer Activity Metrics and adjacent data sources.
• Architect and deliver the API layer for self-service metric consumption.
• Partner closely with engineering teams, UX/UI, and stakeholders to align the metrics platform.
• Build and maintain operational runbooks, monitoring, and alerting for data pipelines.
• Mentor engineers on technical design, code quality, and data engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to communicate the value of accurate developer metrics.
