Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
  • Preferred minimum of 1-2 years of experience with related job history.
  • Proficiency with data analysis software such as R, SAS, SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Effective time management, communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare statistical analyses of underwriting and claims experience for ratemaking and management information reports.
  • Conduct rate reviews and create filings for various segments of the business.
  • Develop and present analyses, proposals, and recommendations to various stakeholder groups.
  • Analyze loss trends and support insurance product development and enhancements.
  • Contribute insights that inform critical business decisions.
