The Principal Marketing Scientist at GEICO will lead complex data analysis and develop statistical marketing measurement methodologies to drive business decisions. This role involves collaborating with Marketing Partners, Technologists, and Engineers while mentoring other Marketing Scientists. The focus is on extracting insights from large datasets to create business value through data-driven solutions. The position requires a strong background in programming and statistical analysis.

• Must have a BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Quantitative Marketing, or a related field.
• Must have 7+ years of professional experience programming in R or Python for developing advanced analytical solutions.
• Must have 7+ years of professional experience utilizing SQL in enterprise database solutions.
• Must be able to perform under pressure and stressful situations.
• Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, professional oral or written manner.

• Collaborate with teams to define metrics and develop solutions that drive business value.
• Identify, extract, aggregate, and synthesize data from various formats using SQL or other languages.
• Lead the analysis of large datasets to identify meaningful patterns and actionable insights.
• Build, test, and validate advanced measurement methodologies using Python or R.
