Job description
The Director of Runtime Intelligence & Personalization at GEICO will lead the vision and strategy for intelligent runtime systems that enhance personalized experiences across various products. This role combines expertise in AI/ML, platform engineering, and product strategy to build scalable systems that utilize context and memory. The director will oversee the development of core capabilities and ensure systems are optimized for performance and reliability. This position requires strong leadership to manage cross-functional teams and drive innovation in personalization strategies.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in engineering, platform, or AI/ML roles with significant leadership experience.
- Proven track record building and scaling distributed systems, AI platforms, or personalization systems.
- Deep expertise in areas such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), context and memory architectures, and real-time inference systems.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
- Demonstrated success leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the roadmap for runtime intelligence capabilities.
- Translate business and customer needs into scalable, AI-powered personalization strategies.
- Lead the development of core runtime capabilities including context orchestration and memory systems.
- Establish observability standards across runtime intelligence systems.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of runtime intelligence platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Build, lead, and scale high-performing teams across engineering, ML, and platform functions.
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions.
