Job description

GEICO is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Unified Communications Service Engineering group, focusing on the development of AI-powered products, particularly large language models. This role involves leading the transformation of the insurance business by designing and deploying core consumer experiences that leverage AI. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical knowledge and experience in building scalable, production-ready systems. The team aims to enhance customer communication through innovative AI solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering or applied machine learning experience.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Generative AI or LLM-based systems in production.
  • Strong experience with Python and modern AI frameworks.
  • Proven track record building scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Strong understanding of agent architectures and workflow orchestration.
