The Senior Front End Engineer position is focused on building the agent safety platform within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Agentic AI Automated Reasoning group. This role combines front end engineering with automated reasoning technology to enhance AWS services. The engineer will work closely with scientists and engineers to turn research breakthroughs into production services. The position is available in Seattle, Washington or New York City, New York.

• 4+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 5+ years of experience as a front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows.
• Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks such as React.JS, AngularJS, or Vue.
• Knowledge of web services technologies including SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.
• Experience in a broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

• Design and implement core components of the agent safety platform, including policy authoring, policy management, policy audit, and agent simulation.
• Deliver agent safety experience in products where customers create agents today, such as Kiro and Quick.
• Develop and operate the area of the agent safety platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design reviews.
• Raise the bar on engineering practices across the team.
