• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in video/image processing/compression
• Experience with SSE/AVX2/NEON is a plus

• Improve the quality per bit in home-grown video encoders
• Design and incorporate machine learning components to enhance video quality
• Design and implement improved video filters such as scalers and deinterlacers
• Improve compute performance of video processing
