Job description
Amazon Lab126 is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to build security software for devices like Echo and Fire TV. The role involves collaborating with Security Engineers and Applied Scientists to design and implement security features that protect Amazon's device platform. Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 2+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered software applications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of server-side development experience
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
Responsibilities
- Build security detection mechanisms in device software
- Build backend services to process client-side abuse detection
- Develop tools to process device data at scale to find anomalies
- Work in a fast-paced team using Agile methodology
