The Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers within Robinhood's Credit Cards & Banking team, focusing on building innovative consumer financial products. This high-impact role requires collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The manager will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing a high-performing team while ensuring technical excellence and operational reliability. The position is based in Menlo Park, CA, New York, NY, or Bellevue, WA, with a strong emphasis on in-person collaboration.

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Experience leading teams that build and ship customer-facing products at scale.
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to partner closely on architecture, tradeoffs, and execution.
• Experience working on complex distributed systems, backend services, or full-stack consumer products.
• A track record of driving cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch.
• Experience coaching and developing engineers through regular feedback, performance management, and career growth.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
• A high bar for execution, product quality, and building strong teams.

• Lead, grow, and support a team of software engineers working on Robinhood’s Credit Cards & Banking product area.
