Job description
Apple's Software Program team is seeking a motivated Project Manager to lead security engineering initiatives. The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure security is prioritized in all software products. As an Engineering Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to influence and implement new security features across Apple's ecosystem. This position requires strong communication and project management skills to drive alignment and deliver robust security solutions.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Project or Program Manager managing complex, multi-functional projects
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent work experience in project management
- Experience in security-focused project management or software engineering project management within a large-scale organization
- Strong technical expertise in operating systems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and proactive with creative problem-solving abilities
- Experience in designing and executing effective processes with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Security Engineering teams and cross-functional partners to define, plan, prioritize, and track initiatives.
- Drive alignment across Security, Software, Hardware, Design, and other teams.
- Ensure security is integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Deliver technologies that protect users and data across all operating systems.
- Influence colleagues to implement new features that enhance security.
