Job description
The Vice President - Technology M&A Integration Specialist at Goldman Sachs will lead the technology integration for acquired businesses, ensuring a secure and efficient process from transaction signing through to platform convergence. This role sits at the intersection of corporate strategy and technology execution, requiring strong technical breadth and risk judgment. The specialist will work across various teams, including Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Risk Management, to drive integration efforts. The focus is on assessing technology risks, developing integration roadmaps, and managing stakeholder relationships to optimize the M&A technology integration lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in technology program management or enterprise systems integration.
- Demonstrated experience leading technology workstreams for mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong working knowledge of enterprise technology domains, including cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technology integration workstreams across diligence, transition planning, and stabilization.
- Assess acquired-company technology estates and identify technology risks and control gaps.
- Develop and manage integrated delivery plans, milestones, and executive reporting for multiple acquisitions.
- Build trusted relationships with executives and technology leaders from acquired companies.
- Analyze recurring integration patterns to improve the scalability and effectiveness of the M&A technology integration lifecycle.
